Sheila
is an experienced painter, mainly working in pastel
and watercolour, who lives and works in the West Country.
Her inspiration comes mainly from the countryside and
coastal scenery, but she also likes to paint still life
objects.
Gordon
lives in the West of Scotland. He loves the West coast
and frequently tries to capture its beauty and different
moods in his paintings, the the majority of Gordon's
paintings are landscapes - but he also does still lifes.
Carolyn
has been living and teaching in Jersey since 1976. Much
of her early work was fantasy, having been inspired
by reading Tolkein, she has also illustrated several
books, including a re-print of Lillie Langtry's Autobiography.
During
the late 1970's and the early 1980's Frazer gained a
reputation for his imaginative rock and theatre photography.
His subjects included such legends as Charlie Chaplin,
Gene Pitney, The New Seekers, Rod Stewart, David Bowie,
Elton John and Dr Hook with many pictures being seen
in newspapers, magazines and books as well as being
featured in one-man exhibitions around the UK and America.
Paul
has been painting since the late 1970's and has been
a full time artist since 1996. Initially Paul painted
a wide variety of subjects, concentrating on animal
portraiture for a time before deciding to specialise
in transport subjects. Whilst much of Paul's time is
spent on commissioned paintings, he and his wife Sheila
publish many of his transport paintings as prints.
Paul’s
major influences have been Laurence Alma Tadema and
the Victorian figurative artists. These, together with
a strong impressionist technique that can clearly be
detected in his work, combine to create a highly individual
style for which he is justly acclaimed both at home
and abroad.
