Lita’s styles
can be very diverse, but she always strives to attain
a visual balance in her work, with a sense of depth
and perspective. Her inspirations can be as varied as
her paintings, but she finds urban and city landscapes
particularly influential, along with a love of plants
and flowers.
William's works are
in the traditional style and he gained two highly commended
awards for exhibits in the 1990 National Exhibition
of the Marquetry Society of Great Britain. He has recently
taken up acrylic painting and enjoys drawing and painting
cityscapes/ landscapes; buildings; animals and portraits.
He works from photographs of his subjects and does all
of his work in his studio at home.
Lisa has formally studied
art, design and textiles for many years and was awarded
her degree in Textile Art in 1999 from Norwich School
of Art and Design. Her Textile Art degree and love for
texture translates into her paintings. Whether the texture
is made from paint alone or having added beads and threads,
the 3 dimensional quality is always intriguing.
Inspiration for Brenda's
vibrant paintings is largely taken from the rich and
varied colours of the world around her. Those who know
Brenda's work are familiar with her passion for light
and colour. Brenda has travelled widely and she believes
this has influenced her fascination with colour and
form.
Zoe studied at the
Norwich School of Art & Design and started painting
professionally in 1996 with a string of commission from
Gibson Greetings & The Medici Society. The same
year her work was featured in Sue Burton’s Publication
’Encyclopedia of Flower Painting Techniques’.
Steve’s painting
style combines the two disciplines of Art and Mathematics,
and uses a computer in the process. Steve is now purely
focused on abstract works, and those based upon his
own initial imagery, be that wildlife, architecture
or people. Most pieces start life as a photograph taken
by the artist.
