Lita’s styles
can be very diverse, but she always strives to attain
a visual balance in her work, with a sense of depth
and perspective. Her inspirations can be as varied as
her paintings, but she finds urban and city landscapes
particularly influential, along with a love of plants
and flowers.
Lisa has formally studied
art, design and textiles for many years and was awarded
her degree in Textile Art in 1999 from Norwich School
of Art and Design. Her Textile Art degree and love for
texture translates into her paintings. Whether the texture
is made from paint alone or having added beads and threads,
the 3 dimensional quality is always intriguing.
Inspiration for Brenda's
vibrant paintings is largely taken from the rich and
varied colours of the world around her. Those who know
Brenda's work are familiar with her passion for light
and colour. Brenda has travelled widely and she believes
this has influenced her fascination with colour and
form.
Zoe studied at the
Norwich School of Art & Design and started painting
professionally in 1996 with a string of commission from
Gibson Greetings & The Medici Society. The same
year her work was featured in Sue Burton’s Publication
’Encyclopedia of Flower Painting Techniques’.
David's interest in
photography began in his early teens with the construction
of various pin-hole cameras. He has since travelled
extensively throughout the world and developed a keen
interest in Landscape photography. David makes frequent
walking trips to the Lake District, the Peak District
and North Wales, all of which, provide ample opportunity
to reflect the local landscapes in his photographs.
Travel largely in the UK gives Kathryn inspiration to try and capture various moods, atmosphere and feelings about a place. Kathryn would describe her style as expressive and intuitive (perceptive). She will first sketch and photograph a chosen motif. If she chooses to take this further Kathryn will develop the studies into an oil or watercolour painting.
