Jackie
generally paints with watercolours, enjoying their subtlety
and pastels loving the vibrancy (and the messy fingers!).
Jackie's style depends very much on the subject matter

be fairly representational whereas their pastel equivalent
a little more impressionistic. |

painting portraits David tries to create a striking
unique image of the sitter both physically and psychologically.
Trying to capture human emotion frozen in time. He also
produces contemporary almost dream-like images from
experiences and references. David generally works from
photographs as he feels this is a good way to instantly
capture the sitters emotion. |

Keith began painting in the 1970’s and sold my first picture at that time as a self-taught artist. Although Keith occasionally focuses on other subject matter and the different challenges they present, his principle passions are for landscape, seascape and waterscape, and the interpretation of nature has always been a fundamental motivating factor for him. |

Julian
is an amateur artist who has always painted sporadically,

Clive's work at the moment uses African animals in the designs…Designs being an appropriate word because they look more like textile designs or industrial images…Clive likes the order and balance that design can bring to a painting…
He uses acrylic paints on box canvas… painting round the edges so you can hang them straight out of the box…no frames required…

Adrian has been painting for most of his life however he has only turned to working as a full time artist for the last three years or so. Adrian has worked in many different mediums and styles during his career, he is currently working in acrylics and has been for the last year or so. As for most Artists Adrian's style and the way his style evolves is the most important factor in his work. Adrian uses a palette knife to paint which has helped him greatly in the creation of his very unique and original painting style.

Anne
is a 'Sunday painter' without formal training who enjoys
painting tremendously. Anne would have used my artistic

leaving university with a degree in illustration, nearly
a decade ago Simons work has become more abstract which
he feels allows him great freedom in his work. Simon
