Carol is a self taught artist who is totally committed to her art, sharing her experiences with local art groups and informal workshops. Best known for her colourful landscapes of the East Anglian countryside and coastline, Carol also likes to paint other areas of the British Isles, particularly the West Country, the Welsh Borders and Scotland. She enjoys still life subjects, especially floral compositions and paints in acrylics and soft pastels as well as in oils.
Possessing a dynamic attitude to art, Carol is now experimenting with knife work and larger supports than previously used.
Carol’s work has been represented in 6 group exhibitions in East Anglian galleries including the Ottewill gallery in Bury St Edmunds and Chambers gallery in Ipswich. She has also had 3 solo exhibitions locally and 1 in the North of England. She has contributed to “
