My name is Catherine Bartle. I have retired from working for over 40 years in the National Health service, and now can enjoy spending time pursuing my passion for painting. I am a self taught artist and enjoy trying many different mediums, but usually I paint in watercolour.

My work was recognised by the International Guild of Artists in the 1996 at an exhibition in The Winter Gardens in Ilkley, North Yorkshire, when I was made a Companion of the International Guild of Artists.
