Born in 1973, I studied fine art and design at Manchester
Metropolitan University. I have had work exhibited
at the Bristol Royal Exhibition and the Manchester
open exhibition.
With my portraits I am trying to
create a striking unique image of the sitter both
physically and psychologically. Trying to capture
human emotion frozen in time. I also produce contemporary
almost dream-like images from experiences and references
. I generally work from photographs as I feel this
is a good way to instantly capture the sitters emotion.
My works are generally carried out in oils on stretched
canvas. I also welcome commissions and am happy to
travel nationally and internationally.
