I was born
in Oxford in 1946. We moved to London when I was approximately
5 years old. My favourite subject in school was art
and it has always been my passion.
In my early years I used to make and
sell paper sculptures all around the country including
Hampton Court Flower Show and Covent Garden in the Jubilee
Market, my main selling point was at Craft Shows.
After some years I decided I wanted to learn to express
myself in otherway's so I went to Art School; doing
a foundation course at the Kingsway College of Art for
three years. I went straight on to do Degree course
at Byam Shaw in Elthorn Road Archway. I also did a course
on Enamelling with Gudde Smidt /Watercolour with Judy
Finmark / Ceramics at West Herts College
My journey has taken me from being very Figurative to
Figurative with Abstract elements. I would also say
I am a colourist in every sense of the word. A lot of
my paintings are on commission which I really enjoy
doing.
I am a member of The Artists of the Imagination and
with them have shown at the Mall Gallery London and
a member of the HVAF and The Radlett Art Society.
