I first got interested in drawing
and painting in school, it was something for me to
do whilst i was bunking off lessons. This is why I
first started out doing small pieces as they were
easy to carry around in my bag. After school I went
to Northampton College to do a diploma in fine art,
where they encouraged me to go bigger. My work has
got smaller since I left, but i still occasionally
do bigger pieces. I find working in abstract comes
a lot easier to me than figurative work, but i do
try to do both. When asked to catorgorize my work
I find it hard to come up with an answer because I
like to try out everything, the idea of just doing
one style is limiting.
