Pastel artist Graham Cox was born
and grew up in Bath. Graham left school at 16 to join
the Royal Navy and spend 10 years in telecommunications.
Graham’s boyhood love of painting was rekindled
in 1994 after seeing an episode of Art Works with
watercolour artist David Bellamy. Like David, Graham
loves to wander amongst the wild, remote places of
Britain capturing images to work up into Moody Views.
Graham also runs pastel workshops and demonstrations
to art groups and societies around the south and south
west. Information on these can be found on Graham’s
own web site www.moodyviews.co.uk
Graham uses only the best Unison artists quality
soft pastels on Canson or Fabriano acid free papers.
The finished paintings are not spray fixed as this
tends to dull the colours and can yellow with time.
