I was born in 1944 in North Derbyshire
and have been drawing and painting for as long as
I can remember.
I studied fine art, pottery and art history at Chesterfield
College of Art (affiliated to Sheffield University).
Whilst in the Army I worked as illustrator on several
training manuals and MOD projects. I have also taught
adult art classes and organised art groups for children.
I have successfully exhibited in Germany, London,
Winchester, Birmingham and East Yorkshire.
I work mainly in watercolour but enjoy working in
most mediums. My subjects are varied, whatever takes
my fancy really.
