Trained as a painter and art-historian
at Leeds University and Chelsea School of Art . Practicing
painter since 1978 working in fishing villages of
Britain and France. The interest in the play of light
on the shapes of fishing boats and their reflections
has led to extensive travels around Europe. More recently
based on the Hebridean Isle of Coll painting sea and
landscape. For the past 7 years returning to work
in the South of France and Switzerland by invitation.

and permanent exhibition at the Lighthouse Studio
, Isle of Coll. Available for commissions any subject,
landscape, boats, portraits.
All figurative paintings are
in watercolour , although the artist is a trained
oil-painter and can produce work in oil if requested.
All work completed to a high standard , no
commissions paid for until the client is completely
satisfied.
