I was born in Maidstone, Kent in
1953 and now live and work on the Essex/Hertfordshire
border.
Self taught with advice from my father who is an artist
in Cornwall. I totally loose myself in my paintings
and am amazed how the time flies by so fast.
I mainly paint using oil although occassionally I
use watercolours. I especially like the 'wet on wet'
technique using these mediums.
My paintings and photographs are all framed by a member
of the Fine Art Trade Guild to conservation standard.
My travels to Sri Lanka, The Maldives and trips to
Kenya have also inspired me to paint using a variety
of colours.
I also have an interest in photography. All my photographs
are produced to archival standard and are printed
using the Epson R2400. Only Epson media and the genuine
Epson Ultrachrome K3 inkset are used which provides
superb archival results.
