I am a photographer specializing
in traditional large format black and white photography.
My work is based around an idea of decay and reclamation.
These pictures shown here are tiny fragments and details
from walls covered in graffiti or worn advertisements.
The lack of coherence of subject matter reflects my
own confusion with the world around me and somehow,
photographing such walls, brings comfort to my unease.
Having lived for the majority of my life in rural
Ceredigion, I have just recently moved to Brighton
in East Sussex. I use a wooden 5x4inch field camera
and handprint all my own work.
