Peter (Born in 1955) is a leisure
painter and has been painting in oils for the last
5 years or so. His work is painted either on canvas
or Gesso prepared boards. Peter usually works in an
“alla prima” style and likes to use brushes
pallet knives and fingers!!
For me painting is an escape into a different world
where everything else is outside. My subject matter
varies but the challenge is always to try to capture
light or or mood.
Seascapes are a favourite, and many of my paintings
are inspired by trips to North Cornwall.
Paintings are often prepared from photographs so
if you have a favourite scene I will be happy to consider
