I am currently a resident artist at the Ascot Contemporary
Art Studios in the Ribble Valley.
My work is concerned with mans relationship with the
environment. The architecture and placement of the
structures and places that we call home or work, how
they are created and how they decline I follow this
across Europe and Britain. Over 2007 I have enjoyed
been painting across both Andalucia and the UK. A
situation which will be extended to parts other parts
of Spain as well as in both France, Austria and Italy.
I work in a variety of media use line and strong colour
my work is quite textured with lots of mark making.
I try and follow the tradition of 20th Century and
contemporary English Landscapes artists such as Sutherland,
Piper and Nash.
