I started painting at school I had my first exhibition
when I was 15 I changed to watercolour about 10 years
ago, at first I went to local tutors to improve my
skills and then began exhibiting.
In 2003 I had my work selected for the Pitching's
Art festival where it was highly commended, I was
invited to become a full member of the British Watercolour
Society in 2004 and at the summer exhibition 2005
I was elected to of Fellow of the International Guild
of Artists. This I regard as a great achievement as
you are elected by your fellow artists on the quality
of your paintings.
I display my work at their exhibitions in the winter
gardens at Ilkley where I have been a past prize winner
on several occasions.
