Robin Stanford is a photographer
and graphic/web designer who tends towards landscape
and architectural work, but also produces abstracts
and bold silk screen like graphics.
His photographs are primarily influenced by architecture
and the way that even the shabbiest of buildings can
capture the imagination. Whether its the colour of
the stonework when the sun hits it at a certain time,
or the way shadows enact with the shape of the building
itself. He is also influenced by patterns, whether
it is the natural patterns of rocks or flowers, or
manmade patterns and structures. They all help add
to the overall texture of a shot.
He works largely in digital and colour, but also
paints and produces mixed media. He splits his between
his house in Leicestershire and his home in Andalucia,
Spain.
