My name is Sharon, I am 42 years
of age and live in Essex. Self taught, I have been
drawing and painting from an early age. I like to
use a variety of media including pencil, pastel, watercolour
and acrylic on paper and canvas. I enjoy creating
abstract and fantasy pieces as well as images of interesting
objects, places and buildings based on my own photographs.
I use digital enhancement on my originals,
producing reworked images which are then printed onto
a choice of textured (240gsm) watercolour paper, canvas
sheets or premium photographic (satin) paper, ready
to frame. The photographic paper gives the most colour-saturated
and crisp modern feel to the image; the canvas and
the watercolour papers provide a more subdued, softer
and aged effect, ideal for a natural wooden frame.
These options are intended to suite both modern and
older style surroundings and decor.
