"I love painting in watercolours. I go to the coast and feel the swell of the waves and incoming storms. I look down over industrial towns with fog rising. I catch the light as it fades on the firth. I watch waterfalls crashing in highland glens and light shimmering over cities. I just love looking and seeing something that makes me say 'WOW' out loud, and I am usually on my own!"
