Sheila is an experienced painter,
mainly working in pastel and watercolour, who lives
and works in the West Country. Her inspiration comes
mainly from the countryside and coastal scenery, but
she also likes to paint still life objects.
Shelia studied Art and Design at
Redland College, Bristol, for two years, as part of
a teacher training course. She received further tuition
in pastels from Christopher Assheton-Stones and John
Blockley, both of whom inspired by the medium and
has exhibited at various venues in the region. Her
work has also been shown at the Bella Gallery in Tetbury
and the famous Mall Galleries and Pall Mall, London.
She runs courses and workshops and demonstrates for
local societies.
