On-linegallery.co.uk is created and owned by Laureen Bromley, trading as On-linegallery.co.uk, Curzon House, Curzon Road, Bolton, Bl1 4RW. The company is subject to UK law. The words 'we', 'our/s', or 'the website' refer to on-linegallery.co.uk. The terms 'you' or 'your' refer to users and subscribers of the website. The term 'Artwork' refers to all works displayed on the website. The term 'customers' refers any person or persons buying artworks from the website. The term 'Artist/s' refers to the person or persons selling their artworks on the website.

By visiting this website more than once it is assumed you have read these terms and conditions and by continuing to use the site it is assumed that you accept the terms and conditions outlined here. By subscribing to the website and therefore becoming a member to display your work you agree to and accept all the terms and conditions outlined here.

Right to Amend Terms and Conditions

On-linegallery.co.uk reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. The Terms and Conditions that are displayed on the site at the time you are using it are those which shall apply to you, the changes come into effect when they are posted on the website. It is advised that you check the Terms and Conditions from time to time. The last date of change will be displayed at the bottom of the Terms and Conditions page.

Content

On-linegallery is used by people of all ages and backgrounds and we aim to maintain a website free from any offensive or illegal content. We therefore reserve the right to refuse to display any artworks or content that we deem to be unacceptable for this website. All artist descriptions, artworks, and accompanying text are subject to approval. It is also prohibited to use this website for any illegal activity and all artists must own the copyrights to the art they are selling. On-linegallery.co.uk owns all content on this site including logos, graphics and text. The copyright of the artwork is retained by the artist. You must not copy or reproduce any part of these images or graphics from this website.

There are links on this website to other independent websites. On-linegallery.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any content held on these third party websites.

Availability

All items shown on the website are available to our knowledge. It is the artist's responsibility to inform On-linegallery.co.uk of any changes to the artworks themselves or their availability status. The artist must agree to inform On-linegallery.co.uk as soon as possible if any artwork displayed on the website is sold elsewhere or is made unavailable for sale on the website for any other reason. The artist must agree to do this under all circumstances. In the rare event that an artwork is bought on the website when it is actually unavailable, the customer will be informed. No monies will be taken and a similar alternative piece by the artist may be suggested.

Product Descriptions

The Artist is responsible for providing On-linegallery.co.uk with an accurate description of themselves, their work and any specific artworks displayed on the website, including medium and dimensions. If customers want any more details about a particular artwork they are free to contact us and we will in turn contact the artist for any additional information. Please note: due to the nature of a computer monitor/screen the artworks colour and appearance may vary slightly from the image on the screen.

Purchases

All purchases made from this website will be subject to these Terms and Conditions. You must accept these Terms and Conditions before making any purchase from this website.

All prices displayed on On-linegallery.co.uk are in £ sterling, as we are a new small company there is currently no VAT added. Credit card details taken on the website are taken through a secure https server to provide the safest way to shop on the internet. Credit cards will not be debited until the sale has been confirmed with the artist. All credit card details will be deleted after the card has been debited. All monies will be held by on-linegallery.co.uk until the customer has decided to keep the artwork and is fully satisfied with their purchase.

Before buying an artwork you must add on the cost of shipping, this will be shown as a separate amount on your receipt, and is non-refundable if you decide to return the work for any other reason besides it being damaged. We accept payments on the website using Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Switch/Maestro and Solo. We do not currently accept AMEX. Payments by cheque are accepted but the artwork will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared. The artwork will be reserved until this time but will be released for sale again if the cheque fails to clear.

Shipping Prices

Shipping prices displayed are for shipment to the UK Mainland. Deliveries to Highlands and Islands may incur additional charges. Customers will be notified of any additional charges before the transaction proceeds.

Contract

The artworks displayed are an invitation to treat. When you go through our shopping basket requesting to buy an artwork this is taken as an offer to buy, subject to the acceptance by On-linegallery.co.uk and the artist concerned. We reserve the right to refuse any offer to buy by a customer. A contract will not be formed until we contact the customer confirming our acceptance of your offer to buy. At this point a binding contract will be formed between On-linegallery.co.uk and yourself. Under exceptional circumstances On-linegallery.co.uk reserves the right to rescind any contract and will refund any monies taken, putting each party back to the position they were in before the contract was formed.

Delivery

The delivery method and charges are determined by the artist. It is the artist's responsibility to make sure the artwork is packaged properly and adequate insurance is taken out to protect it from loss or damage. On-linegallery.co.uk can accept no responsibility for the loss or damage of any artwork in transit. The artist must make every effort to dispatch the artwork as soon as possible after a sale has been confirmed. The artist must inform On-linegallery.co.uk of the date and method of dispatch in order for us to inform the customer buying the artwork. All shipping prices shown are for the UK, if you wish to have the artwork delivered to another country On-linegallery.co.uk will have to determine with the artist how much extra the shipping will be.

Cancellations

If a customer wishes to cancel an order for any reason there will be no charge up until the time the artwork has been dispatched, and a full refund will be made. If the order is cancelled after the goods have been dispatched the customer will be refunded the cost of the artwork. The shipping cost will not be refunded. The customer will be responsible for the cost of returning the artwork and ensuring its safety until it is received by the artist. It is advised to leave the artwork in the packaging it was sent in unless for some reason this is not possible, or the packaging is damaged.

Returns

A customer who has purchased an artwork from On-linegallery.co.uk is given seven working days from the date of receipt to decide if they are happy with the artwork. If for any reason you decide not to keep the artwork you can return the artwork for a full refund of the price of the artwork. This does not include the cost of shipping it to you. You are also responsible for the cost and the safe return TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Damaged Goods

Any goods which are received by the customer which is found to be damaged can be returned to the artist for a full refund. Including all postage and packaging costs. It is the artist’s responsibility to take out the necessary insurance when shipping the artwork as well as to make sure the packaging protects the artwork adequately. It is the customer’s responsibility to check all packaging is intact and there is no visible damage to the outside of the packaging before signing for the goods.

Data Protection

All information taken by on-inegallery.co.uk is strictly confidential and will not be shared with any third party. We will only use any information collected about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information collected about you includes, name, address, phone number, email address and credit card details. We will retain all information about you on a database, except for credit card information which will be deleted as soon as your card has been debited for security reasons. The information collected will be used to process your order accurately and may be used to inform you of any offers or news from On-lineGallery.co.uk. It will not be used to inform you of any offers from any third parties. If you do not wish to hear from On-lineGallery.co.uk, you will be given the option to unsubscribe from this. You can update any information we hold on you at anytime by contacting us with any amendments.
