TracyJayne Sullivan trained as an artist, gaining
a 1st class honours degree in art, studying painting,
photography and ceramics. She now works as a combination
of professional artist and graphic designer, producing
both original paintings and canvas prints of illustration
and digital works.
The canvas prints are mainly based on natural themes,
including abstract and semi-abstract landscapes, plant
forms and shadow/light effects. The painted artworks
are mostly water-based mixed media, sometimes collaged
and textured. They also follow similar themes as the
digital work but involve a more abstract interpretation.
TracyJayne's works can be characterised by her love
of texture and colour, from highly textured, subtle
pieces to vibrant graphic designs. The overall characteristic
being an emotional linking with the subject and a
sensuality of line and colour, which ensures the finished
work to be both thought provoking and aesthetically
pleasing.
TracyJayne has exhibited many times in London, individually
and in group exhibitions. She was a finalist in the
'Young Artist of the Year' exhibition held at the
Mall Galleries, London, two years running. She also
recently painted on television in Channel 4's 'Watercolour
Challenge'
