We moved to St Andrews from the west
coast of Scotland in 2006. I became fascinated by
the picturesque coastal towns and villages, the quality
of light, and the big skies. This has encouraged me
to return to painting after a gap of many years and
the paintings on display are the result. Most of my
work is watercolour as I like the purity of the medium….
when things go well….although I also use pastels
where you get such vibrancy of colour.
I am thoroughly enjoying my return to painting and
I hope you enjoy the results.
Ten percent of all proceeds from the sale of the

(SIR) charity. This charity, based in Dalmally near
Oban, is a highly respected and effective overseas
aid organisation working with some of the world’s
poorest people. SIR oversees the Mary’s Meals
school feeding project which feeds over 175,000 hungry
children around the world every day.
