I was brought up in the West Country
and started further education at Worcester Teachers
training college where I obtained a teaching certificate
in Art. My Art career started as a qualified Art teacher
in the Midlands area. I subsequently moved to Cornwall
where bringing up a family provided a temporary halt
to my passion for Art.
I am now enjoying the local scenery and capturing
it in various mediums, mainly watercolour and acrylic,
with a special affinity for pen ink and wash. I have
a fairly tradition approach to painting and my work
is mainly representational but I do like experimenting
in mixed media and trying new techniques and materials.
The art work will be for sale unmounted and unframed
to allow maximum choice for the purchaser. In my experience
people like to choose there own mounts and frames.
All the work will fit standard frames and mounts,
and a guide size is given with the description.
Prints are available at sizes mentioned in the description.
All the prints are printed using Epson Claria technology.
Providing reasonable care is taken with position (As
one should with the originals) they should last as
long as the original.
I am willing to undertake commissions on a negotiable
fee basis.
