I have always been interested in painting and drawing
and after a long career in the oil industry, I took
early retirement to concentrate on painting.
Entirely self taught, I work mainly in oils and watercolours
and I am an Associate of the Guild of Railway Artists.
Two of my paintings can be seen in a Guild book entitled
" Along Artistic Lines" which was published
in 2003 in association with the National Railway Museum,York,
to celebrate the bi-centennial of the first steam
locomotive to run on rails.
I pride myself on my competence to paint any subject
and my work is in private collections throughout Britain'.
